Please note the following conditions for seminar registration:

Payment of Course Fee

If you do not live in Germany, please pay the complete course fee six weeks before the first day of the seminar. Reservations can only be confirmed if full payment is received no later than four weeks before the beginning of the course.

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation by the applicant before the beginning of a course, a administrative charges of 50 euros will be retained by our institute. In the event of a course having to be cancelled or called off by the organizer due to unforeseeable circumstances, the applicant/participant is only entitled to be reimbursed with course fees that have already been paid and not used up by the participation in previous units of the course.

Registration per email

By sending us your application via Internet you acknowledge that you have read and accepted the General Terms and Conditions of the Freiburg Institute of Somagogics.
If you are doing a “cross-over” as a Feldenkrais practitioner in order to become a full member of the Feldenkrais Guild, then you confirm that you have graduated from a Feldenkrais Professional Training Program or have absolved the required 90 days of training.

General Terms and Conditions

  1. The contract for participation at a particular seminar is complete when the applicant receives written confirmation from the organizers that his or her application has been accepted. The applicant has no right to have his or her application accepted, or to receive a reaction to his or her application on a first-come-first-served basis. The organizer is entirely free in choosing which applications to accept. Participants are not entitled to exchange course places between one another.
    Each of the course fees has to be transferred separately to our bank account after the applicant has received the confirmation of his or her registration for one or more courses – otherwise the reservation will not be considered effective.

  2. The organizers reserve the right to call a course off if they do not receive a previously calculated minimum number of applicants within the allotted application period. In the event of a course having to be cancelled or called off by the organizer due to unforeseeable circumstances, the participant is only entitled to be reimbursed with course fees that have already been paid but not used up by participation in previous course units. Further liabilities are excluded also when the applicant or participant has already made costs or lost income.
    In the event of a practitioner cancelling his or her participation at a course, irrespective of the reason, he or she is not entitled to be reimbursed.

    In the event of courses taking more than one day, the cancellation of single course units is only possible after consultation with the organizer. In such cases the organizer has the right to claim the full course fee as long as nothing has been explicitly agreed to in writing or as long the participant cannot prove that the organizer has incurred no or little damage as a result of his or her non-participation. Cancellations and withdrawals are only accepted if addressed to the organizer in writing.

  3. Clients who are participating in a practice-oriented seminar have the possibility to cancel their participation at any time.

  4. Course participants take part and are present in the course rooms at their own risk. All exercises and demonstrations carried out by participants are done so at the participant's own risk. Any claims against the course instructor or organizer due to injuries or damages are invalid unless gross negligence or intention can be proved. If a participant injures a third-party or another participant during the course, then he or she is liable to standard legal proceedings.

  5. The Freiburg Institute of Somagogics is not responsible for any shortcomings of the hotel or bed and breakfast facilities, should one of its members help course participants to find accommodation. Moreover, the institute is not responsible for finding the cheapest possible accommodation.

  6. I hereby give the Freiburg Institute of Somagogics and Wolfgang Steinmüller the absolute, irrevocable right and permission, forever and throughout the world, to use and re-use, in any manner, all video recordings, audio recordings, photos, and transcripts of me or my family and children, in whole or in part, either by themselves or in conjunction with other media, in any format or medium, and for any purpose whatsoever, including without limitation all educational and promotional uses and other purposes, as seen fit by the Freiburg Institute of Somagogics or Wolfgang Steinmüller. I hereby forever release and discharge the Freiburg Institute of Somagogics and Wolfgang Steinmüller from any and all claims, actions, and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of said media, including, without limitation, any and all claims of invasion of privacy and libel.

  7. I hereby promise that all media recordings (audio-, video-) and photos that I may have taken during any seminar offered by the Freiburg Institute of Somagogics, are for my personal learning purposes only. This is true for all learning materials (CDs, DVDs, written materials) that I have received or may receive from the Freiburg Institute of Somagogics. I am aware that the above mentioned learning materials are the intellectual property of the teachers who present the materials. Any unauthorized reproduction is illegal and can have legal consequences.
